Dr. Wiradee Imrattanatrai, Dr. Masaki Asada, Dr. Ken Fukuda, Research Team Leader, along with Carnegie Mellon University will present the joint research paper "A Video-grounded Dialogue Dataset and Metric for Event-driven Activities" as an oral presentation at AAAI2025 (The 39th Annual AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence), one of the largest AI conferences in the world. (The paper acceptance rate is 23.4%, with 19.8% accepted for oral presentation)

Best Paper Award of the 7th International Conference on Human Aspects of IT for the Aged Population (HCII2021) has been conferred to Dr. Satoshi Nishimura and Dr. Ken Fukuda for the paper entitled "Towards Representation of Daily Living Activities by Reusing ICF Categories."
The presentation proposes an ontology as a controlled vocabulary for describing daily living activities that will contribute to realizing the simulation of a dangerous situation and activity recognition in a video.
